Boyd Street Blues:

“Boyd Street Blues jazz combo from the University of Oklahoma, featuring Xander Heimbrock, Taylor Edmondson, Josh McDowell, and Orlando Melendez-Lin. Bringing fresh energy to jazz standards from across the decades.”

Moksha:

“Our name is Moksha and we’re a small band that formed a few years ago here in Norman! We’re so excited to perform at Second Wind Coffeehouse with Boyd Street Blues and Bathtub Fishing!”

Bathtub Fishing:

“A 4 piece local act from OKC-Norman. Bathtub Fishing has influences from 90’s alternative, punk, and shoegaze. MAKING NOISE!!!!!!”

You have things to say, the community wants to hear it. Come out for the return of our open poetry slam before leaving for spring break! We will start the night with a flash round featuring 5 crowd chosen words that you must integrate into a poem that you will write ON THE SPOT! After this, we will begin our competition and go through 3 rounds of finalists until we select the winner of the night. Stop by at 6:30 to signup!

Welcome back to our monthly open mic night! Signups open at 7 PM and each participant is given 15 minutes to perform any musical act they desire. Open mic night is always a special time at Second Win so you will surely not want to miss it!

Come visit the shop after closing for a fantastic study environment filled with great food provided by friends of the community! If you wish to dine, please bring one dish of any kind add to our feast so we can keep the night going! Food will be served at 7 and will continue until 8:30. Invite your friends! In addition to food we will also be decorating for Mardi Gras so bring arts and crafts along with your favorite dishes!
